August 30, 2007 Workshop & Special Meeting Agenda Item #11 Item Title Memorandum of Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Baker County Health Department regarding the Dental Services Program Issue/Rationale To provide dental services to students in W.E. Cherry Elementary, via mobile unit, thereby reducing the incidence of dental disease by providing an effective preventive and treatment program.    This program effectively eliminates the barriers which exist for many families seeking the care of a dentist:  transportation problems, lack of information on how often children should be seen for check-ups, and time away from the job. Recommended Action Approve the Memorandum of Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Baker County Health Department regarding the Dental Services Program as submitted.
